      Hey Colin,
      I loved your little video and ALL of the other ones too for that matter. Yes positive affirmaitons work but one has to believe what one is saying. If whatr we say is not aligned to what we believe about ourselves, things don’t happen that easily…I supposed that takes us back to the laws of attraction…;-)Keep these great videos and audios coming! they’re great.

      Hi Helen, I’ve found using positive affirmations are a way to change the beliefs we have about ourselves. That’s what the experiment demonstrates. Used consistently, positive affirmations are like small droplets of water that wear down the hard outer shell of our limiting beliefs. Yes, as I show in the video, when we begin using a statement that’s the opposite to a belief, they feel uncomfortable, wrong and “not me!” That should be expected. But, that is how we took on the limiting belief in the first place. If I repeatedly tell myself I not very good at something, it becomes the automatic way I think. Affirmations are a way to turn that around and automate a more empowering belief. Hope that helps. cx
