Thanks Oliver. Good point… alot of it is common sense but we are not so good at making it common practice! cx

Yes, I agree. It’s common sense… but we so often over look our natural instincts. “Gratitude is the practice of happiness” – for some reason I never associated gratitude with happiness before. Does being thankful for something make you happy or does being happy make you thankful for something? My quandary for the day :-)

Nice quandry Dinesh. I think its ‘and’ not an ‘or.’ That’s my two pennies worth. Thanks for leaving a comment and nice to hear from you.

Great blog Colin – Happiness / success is a journey not a destination. You have to take regular pitstops on long journeys and I see that this is what you’re saying here.

Yes Anne. I believe there is no arrival. There is only becoming. Thanks for dropping by.

Hi Colin – many thanks for sharing your video blog. I would just add that in my experience it’s also the quality of social bonds that affects our levels of happiness, as well as the number of social connections. It might just be me, but having a few people that I really care about and who really care about me in my life, brings me a profound sense of happiness and gratitude :-) (even if they also bring me worries!).

Thats what the reseach is showing Dominique. Its not just the amount of social connections but the depth of the bond that matters. Good to hear from you.

      Hello Mr Man
Some really good insights. I ernjoyed the connectionIts the reverse effect of small errors of juidgement done on a daily basis. Perhaps it’s more like dear Marlyn King’s idea of paying attention to your intention on a daily basis.
      Thanks
